For a fashion shoot in 1959, she created a graphic environment within the space of her studio. In the resulting photograph, a scrim of sheer fabric envelops the model in bold stripes—a striking composition fit for print. The setup approximates some of Bassman’s signature darkroom techniques, diffusing the light and softening the scene. 📣 One more month!
