I have always loved the people Tom Ford casts but last night’s lineup was especially good. Seeing @originalgiselezelauy walk gave me the biggest smile. That woman is fierce. (And the five inches of gray melting into blonde on the runway made me feel a lot better about growing out my own. Thank you, @h.a. I’m officially chic now.) We first met in the 90s when I was casting a big project for Richard Avedon. Thank God she walked in — he loved her immediately, which was not easy to do. All personality. One of one. Still is.
