Born and raised in Santiago de Chile, Sebastian started photography at a young age, assisting his father, a portrait and fine art photographer. He was simultaneously nurtured by the sensibility of his mother, who was a painter.

After graduating in Fine Arts & Theatre, writing and directing plays in Santiago, Sebastian moved to Spain and started shooting staged scenes with dancers and actors.
